Yahoo!, The best way to search the Internet because it makes what you're looking for so easy unlike all of the other guys. Because they have the best way to search available, they also have a "special" way to submit your site. This page is provided to show you how to properly do it.

1. First Search Yahoo! with the keywords you think that best fits your web site.

2. Then you must find the category the best fits your site. Click on the category link (example: Business and Economy: Companies: Internet Services: Web Services: Promotion). DO NOT submit to irrelevant categories because you're just wasting your time and Yahoo!'s time.

3. You will see an link at the very bottom that says "Suggest a Site." Click on it and that category will automatically appear as the category that you will add to (You won't have to manually type in a category).

4. After that it's pretty self explanatory, BUT read the important tips below when submitting title, description, and extra categories for Yahoo.

Yahoo! has FULL editorial control over their listings. They can and (in most cases) will alter title and description because of such high quality control. A human visits each site before it's listed. Expect listing times from 6-8 weeks because of a major backlog.

If you don't see your URL within 7 weeks Re-Submit with the same information you did the first time.
